Why Is Holistic Skin Care 100% Pure Skin Care?

100% pure sink care is the order of the day as more and more women and men demand a more holistic skincare approach. This is a great step forward to improved well being as natural is almost always a better approach.

But in reality this is not the always the case as there is no such thing as a completely natural skincare product, no matter how persuasive the hype of the product marketing is.

The truth is that it is simply not possible for every ingredient in a skincare product to be completely natural, if by that you mean that none of the ingredients have been processed.

Even products derived from plants have to go through some type of natural processing before they can be used in a skincare product you buy. In fact, this will increase their effectiveness! A good example of this is the maceration of calendulas to produce calendula oil.

This is exactly why herbal supplements can be more effective than the plants they come from because it's often only the active ingredients of the plants, essential oils etc. that are used.

You would be wrong in thinking that just because, in the strictest sense of the term, there is no such thing as 100% pure skincare. It does not mean that you should buy any chemical-laden product from your local pharmacy instead.

The reality is that holistic skincare products do give you far greater benefits than their cheap imitations.

For starters, you need to avoid any product containing parabens in it. There are 3 types of parabens that are commonly used in the majority of topical products. Their role is to preserve the product from going rancid. However studies have shown that they are carcinogenic, linked to causing cancer!

Parabens are a very low cost preservative that allow major cosmetic companies to make large profits by giving their creams and lotions a longer shelf-life. But ask yourself the following question before you massage a chemical toxic cocktail into your skin. How do I benefit?
The answer is simple. You don't!

Fragrances are another thing that you need to avoid if you want a 100% pure skincare product. Buying a fragranced product is appealing on the surface but these fragrances are made from dangerous chemicals that can cause skin irritation or worse!

Holistic skincare, as the term implies. means using all natural ingredients processed naturally with ingredients that have been shown to be effective.

Some of the best ingredients you will find in holistic skincare products are:

Phytessence Wakame -- a natural, native, Japanese sea kelp, used by Japanese women to keep their skin supple and youthful looking. This is one of Asia's best-kept beauty secrets.

Cynergy TK -- is a natural substance containing functional keratin, a protein found throughout the body that plays an essential role in the beauty of our skin. In studies Cynergy TK has been shown to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.

Collagen and elastin are the two principal proteins mainly responsible for the elasticity and firmness of young-looking skin. These protein cells decline with age; as our bodies produce less and less collagen and elastin which in turn leads to more and more wrinkles and sagging skin.

100% pure skincare products will contain natural ingredients like the ones mentioned here, but they are not the absolutely total answer to fabulous skin and health a proper balanced diet, plenty of purified water and regular exercise all contribute to looking and feeling fabulous.

In conclusion, don't fall for the marketing hype of big cosmetic companies whose only goal is their profit-margin. Look after yourself naturally. Holistic skincare is not be complicated as there are companies that believe in the natural philosophy, their customers and the environment
