Tattooing is very popular among men and women, and this entire process involves choosing a tattoo, the location on your body that you desire to have it displayed, and finding a reputable tattoo artist. There are ways to sterilize the needles before use, but this is the safest way to make sure that your customer will have the lowest risk of infection possible.

Many experienced artists will elect to use two machines rather than just one. One machine is intended for the outer edge of the image and is referred to as the liner. The other machine is intended for filling in the image and is called the shader. The use of two machines is more efficient and simplifies the process.

An artist will use the liner to trace the outer edge of the tattoo, much like you might trace the outer edge of a picture in a coloring book. The shader is then used to fill in the image. Typically thee liner needles tend to be smaller than the shader needles.

A shading machine will do just that, shading within the outlines of the tattoo. With shading, the size of the needle will usually be larger than the size used for the outlining. It is up to the artist's preference whether he or she will use a flat or round setup of needles.

The needle packages are usually labeled with abbreviations to identify the type of needle that is contained in the package. An RS on a package identifies that the needle is a round shadier, while a RL would identify a round liner. The needles are also set up in different manners, one manner is a cylindrical manner known as a round set up. A straight line of needles is known as a flat set up.

While there are different skill levels of artist based on their capability and experience, no of them would be able to do the job with tattoo needles. The needles do not do the job but they make the job possible. It is always important to remember to throw away needles after they have been used.
