Either way they are the same. Your baby often sits rear-facing, and is most suitable for babies or infants who shouldn't be left out of sight for extended periods of time. While there are many pros to this type of stroller, one of its cons is that it doesn't travel well; you'll find that these normally don't fold up nearly as well as an umbrella type, so these are typically left at home on trips.
